Jefferson Beauregard Sessions III, or as I like to call him Jeff “Secessions”, was the wrong choice for US Attorney General. We all know that. We called. We faxed. We sent postcards, Facebook messages and Tweets. Still, they wouldn’t listen. So now we’ve got to call again because more shady dealings have come to light regarding AG Secessions’ relationship with Russian operatives.
AG Sessions did not disclose Russia meetings in security clearance form, DOJ says – “Sessions, who met with Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak at least two times last year, didn’t note those interactions on the form, which requires him to list “any contact” he or his family had with a “foreign government” or its “representatives” over the past seven years, officials said.”
Attorney General Jeff Sessions Is More Dangerous Than Trump – “His record thus far shows a determined effort to dismantle the Justice Department’s protections of civil rights and civil liberties. Reversing course from the Obama Justice Department on virtually every front, he is seeking to return us not just to the pre-Obama era but to the pre-civil-rights era.”
SCRIPT: I am calling from ___________, NC. I want to urge the Senator to state on the record that Attorney General Jeff Sessions needs to either step down from the DOJ or be fired. Sessions lied on his security clearance paperwork, which is highly suspect behavior. He has also seemed to be meddling in the firing of James Comey as head of the FBI, when he was supposed to have recused himself after lying about his Russian contacts during his confirmation testimony. Will Senator______ continue to overlook this shady behavior? Jeff Sessions cannot be trusted. If we cannot trust our Attorney General to be truthful, how can we trust anyone at the DOJ or in government as a whole. Jeff Sessions needs to go. Thank you.
