Randolph County Senior Democrats Monthly Meeting
August 17th, 2011The Randolph County Senior Democrats meet at 6PM, on the third Saturday of each month at the Elite Style Salon, 122 South Church Street, Asheboro, NC. The meeting will include a “covered dish” meal, so bring a food item to share and come join us!

Senior Citizens Day in the Park

Bicentennial Park
11:00am until 4:00pm
You are invited to attend “Senior citizen day in the Park”. There will be entertainment for everyone.
Tim Greene will sing, Belles & Beaus and Cultural Mexican Dancer will dance plus lots more.
At 1:00pm there will be a memorial service to honor the deceased members of our senior democrats, those that have passed away since 2005. Those being honored are Chessis Gatheright, James Rich, James Leo Luther, Marie Josey, Clara Neal, Helen Harthrone, Cecil Garner, Francis Hill, Adam Almodova and Ann Pickard.
There will be several organizations set up to explain what services they have available for senior citizens.

June 10th, 2011We have closed our 2008 Election Year Headquarters at 208 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro. Until arrangements are made for a new headquarters location in 2012, our meetings will be held at member homes and other places to be announced.
