Join us to celebrate Randolph County veterans.
The 2015 Veterans Day Parade will be held in Asheboro on Wednesday, November 11 (Veterans Day) from 4 pm to 6 pm. The Randolph County Democratic Party will have an entry in the parade again this year. We are going to decorate Elworth Cheek’s pretty blue pickup truck with banners and flags and Democratic veterans are asked to ride with Elworth in the parade. Afterwards, attendees are invited to Democratic Party Headquarters for a light meal and a showing of the movie, “Tuskegee Airmen”.
If you are a veteran who can ride in the parade, please send an email to randolphdem@gmail.com and let us know so that we can estimate how many people will be on the truck.
