Script: Hi. I’m concerned about cuts to services for kids in special ed programs. I believe we have a responsibility to fully support all learners. The Senate healthcare bill strips Medicaid funding which currently covers essential tools, staff, and screenings to give these kids a fair chance. I oppose the bill for many reasons, but this one is critical. (If it affects you directly, share why.) Thanks.

Script: I am confused about why Ivanka Trump posted a photo of herself and Jared Kushner on twitter saying, “We…are looking forward to productive discussions at the G20 Hamburg Summit!” Aren’t discussions the president’s job?  STATE:

GOP won’t answer why monument cut from budget – Cut $200,000 for African-American “Freedom Monument” project slated for the state Capitol grounds monument then earmarked and extra $5 million for Civil War Museum in Fayetteville.

Call your legislators, both Senate and House and ask why they can earmark $5 million extra for a civil war museum which has already cost $65 million but can’t spare $200,000 for a monument dedicated to the people who were most harmed by the Lost Cause.
