Call Richard Burr and Thom Tillis and stay on their cases about an independent investigation. There is a script here.

Senator John McCain has some choice words about Trump’s loose lips with the Russians

STATEMENT BY SASC CHAIRMAN JOHN McCAIN ON REPORTS THAT PRESIDENT TRUMP SHARED SENSITIVE INTELLIGENCE WITH RUSSIAN OFFICIALS

Send a postcard and thank Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) for opposing Comey’s firing and advocating for a select committee to investigate 45. Once again putting country over party shows outstanding leadership.

Address: 218 Russell Senate Office Building, Washington, DC 20510

Yes, when I think of protecting women’s and minorities’ health, I think of old, white, Republican men.

IF YOU DON’T HAVE A SEAT AT THE TABLE, YOU’RE PROBABLY ON THE MENU

13 Men and No Women Writing Health Care Bill – “Mr. McConnell’s decision to include himself and his top three lieutenants — but not Ms. Collins, Ms. Murkowski or more junior women Republicans like Deb Fischer of Nebraska and Shelley Moore Capito of West Virginia — speaks volumes about his direction and has raised eyebrows.”

Script from Jen Hoffman: Not everyone is at the table to discuss health care, Sen. McConnell. 51% of the US population is female. 37% is not white. 19% has a disability. More than 3% is LGBT. By these statistics, your committee should have six women, four minorities, two disabled people, and one gay person. A group of white, straight men could harm those excluded from the conversation. Please make it right.

Thanks to Jen Hoffman and her wonderful activism checklist, from which some of these calls to action were taken.

STATE:

Today (Wednesday) is the day the NC House will be voting on raising the age of juvenile jurisdiction. NC is the last state to still charge 16 and 17- year-olds as adults. I don’t think we’ve talked about this yet and I am sorry I have neglected this issue.  Let’s not let NC continue to be behind the times on this. Call Reps. Pat Hurley and Allen McNeill this morning and urge them to vote YES on HB 280 and raise the age!

UPCOMING EVENTS:
