WEDNESDAY 8/16/17 CALLS TO ACTION: Jumping ship

A couple of days ago Merck CEO Kenneth Frazier stepped down from the Trump manufacturing advisory council. Intel CEO Brian Krzanich and UnderArmour head Kevin Plank have left the council in recent days also.  All three have cited the President’s lackluster statement on the horrific events in Charlottesville, VA over the weekend.

So, who is left on the council?

Here’s an excellent list of who has left and who is still on board. (As of Tuesday evening Richard Trumka has quit the council.)

Grab Your Wallet has an excellent guide for how to contact the people still on the advisory council in order to apply pressure on them for remaining tied to this toxic President.

The #QuitTheCouncil hashtag on Twitter is a wealth of information as to which companies need to be contacted about their association with Trump.

Grab Your Wallet also has a nice list of Trump-Free companies for you to shop at.
