Bill McCaskill – NC Senate District 26

Bill McCaskill is running for NC Senate, District 26, which covers all of Randolph County and a portion of High Point in Guilford. He is retired from the Randolph County Department of Social Services. He worked with neglected and abused children for 32 years as a social worker and, later, a supervisor. He is a graduate of East Carolina University and lives in Asheboro.

“In addition to my platform topics, there are many other issues facing the NC 26th District and North Carolina. One of the most important is restoring North Carolina’s good reputation, which Republicans have trashed during the last seven years of their control. According to press reports, we are still having problems recruiting new business because of the HB-2 debacle. North Carolina once led the South in industry and providing human services to our citizens. I want North Carolina returned to leadership in the South and the country.” –Bill McCaskill
