We’ve got a HUGE year ahead — we have a real chance to vote Gov. McCrory out of office, we have amazing candidates running to take back our U.S. Senate seat, and N.C. will play a big role in electing our next President of the United States.

We will also be continuing our holiday portrait fundraiser*. Portrait packages will be available for a $14 or $16 donation to the party. So, wear your most festive holiday finery or your tackiest Christmas sweater and let us help you preserve the memory!

Volunteers and members of the Randolph County Democratic party are invited to attend this year’s holiday dinner. This is a pot luck style meal and we ask that you bring your favorite dishes, including desserts! This will be a time to reflect and look forward to the future as we approach one of the most exciting election years in decades! We will have door prizes and loads of entertainment.

The 2016 elections are going to be on us sooner than we think. Below is a link to the Randolph County Elections list of all elected offices.
Jim is working on finding candidates to run for the local and state races, but there are many positions to fill. Please email Jim at firstname.lastname@example.org if you are interested in running or know someone that would be good in any position that is expiring in 2016.

The 2015 Veterans Day Parade will be held in Asheboro on Wednesday, November 11 (Veterans Day) from 4 pm to 6 pm. The Randolph County Democratic Party will have an entry in the parade again this year. We are going to decorate Elworth Cheek’s pretty blue pickup truck with banners and flags and Democratic veterans are asked to ride with Elworth in the parade. Afterwards, attendees are invited to Democratic Party Headquarters for a light meal and a showing of the movie, “Tuskegee Airmen”.
On Monday, October 26th, 2015 at St. Luke UMC, 169 Burns St. Asheboro, NC there will be a meet and greet for municipal candidates currently running for election. This is a non-partisan event and all are welcome.
