Randolph Democratic Women host NC State Senate Candidate John Thorpe at their breakfast meeting: 9:30am this coming Saturday, May 30 at Democratic Party Headquarters, 118 N Church St in Asheboro. Mr Thorpe is a Democrat from Burlington, NC who contacted us to announce that he is running for NC Senate District 24, currently held by Rick Gunn. District 24 occupies Randolph County east of Asheboro.
