CALL BURR!!! You can call Tillis too if you want

Michael Flynn and Russia:

We’ve reached Defcon 4 on Trump’s involvement with the Russian government with last night’s daily dose of treason. It’s not just Flynn; the whole Trump team was talking with Russia during the campaign. They’re messing with our democratic process, and we need to let them know we’re not going to stand for it.

Trump knew for weeks Michael Flynn misled over Russia contact

Script:

CALL YOUR US HOUSE REPRESENTATIVE

School vouchers aka HR 610:

This bill essentially establishes a national school voucher program. It’s tied to a school nutrition program that, on its surface, sounds beneficial, so we’ll have to let our Democratic reps know that they’ll have our backs if they vote against this bill.

For now, it makes more sense just to call the House on this:

Script: Hello, I am a constituent from Randolph County and I am calling to urge Rep. Walker to vote against HR 610, which provides funding to create a national school voucher program. School vouchers will gut our public education system and will be especially harmful for students in rural communities where there are fewer options for students. I strongly urge Rep. Walker to oppose HR 610.

Also, it has come to our attention that Rep. Mark Walker is one of the representatives in Congress who wants to do a full repeal with no replacement for the ACA. He needs to be called on this also, as it would hurt so many of his constituents. You may want to ask him when he plans to hold a town hall to speak to his constituents, also.

Script: Hi, I’m a constituent of Rep. Walker from Randolph County and I am concerned about his stance on repealing the ACA. Repel without replacement with a comparable plan is a recipe for disaster for families in his district and around the nation. I urge Rep. Walker to work with his fellow congresspersons to craft a new, workable plan or to work to repair and strengthen the ACA for the good of all Americans. Gutting healthcare is absolutely the wrong answer. Thank you.
